Many of us say that these things don't work in India . Couple of months back, the Faridabad Municipal Corporation laid new roads in his area and the residents were very happy about it. But 2 weeks later, BSNL dug up the newly laid roads to install new cables which annoyed all the residents.. A resident used the above listed grievance forum to highlight his concern.. To his surprise, BSNL and Municipal Corporation of Faridabad were served a show cause notice and the guy received a copy of the notice in one week. Government has asked the MC and BSNL about the goof up as it's clear that both the government departments were not in sync at all. So use this grievance forum and educate others who don't know about this facility. This way we can at least raise our concerns instead of just talking about the 'System' in India . Invite your friends to contribute for many such happenings.

Get Boric Acid Powder (the same powder we use on carom board) which is easily available with any chemist. 100gms good quality should cost you less than Rs 50. Mix it 3-4 spoons of boric acid with 1 spoon sugar and a little water and milk and make paste out of it. Put it in a match box sort of a container and keep it in 4-5 places not easily reachable by kids. Insects will vanish and will not return for several months. It causes severe dehydration in insects and they die in the nests. Since insects eat each other the effect will be visible for several months.

Adding some more. If you have too many insects. Spray the liquid mixture of water, boric acid and a little sugar directly into the cracks where you suspect roaches have nests. This would be more effective.

It is safe for kids and has no smell but still keep it away from kids.

There are other paid methods like Godrej Hi-Care and other private agents whom will charge big amount but this technique is cheap and best.

Barely five months after the service charge on using automated teller machines (ATMs) of other banks was scrapped, it will be re-introduced
if someone uses this facility more than five times a month, a high-ranking banking sector official said here on Friday. Also the Reserve Bank of India has said that not more than Rs 10,000 can be withdrawn each time they are used.

The apex bank has sent a communication in this regard to Indian Banks' Association (IBA) and this is expected to be implemented shortly, IBA Chief Executive K Ramakrishnan said.

The Indian Banks Association (IBA), the representative organisation of private and public sector banks in India, has proposed that instead of allowing an unlimited number of free transactions at another bank's ATM, there should be a limit of up to five free transactions a month.

"Beyond five transactions, we propose to levy a transaction fee of Rs.20 per transaction for using another bank's ATM," said IBA deputy chief executive K Unnikrishnan.

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has accepted the IBA proposal, but it will be implemented only by October, Unnikrishnan said on Friday.

An RBI spokesperson confirmed the development.

"It will be optional on the part of the banks to levy this charge on customers. We have not made it mandatory but left it to their (banks') discretion," Unnikrishnan said.

He explained that since the RBI's permission has been taken, it would not be improper on the part of banks to levy the charges if they wanted.

There are a little over 40,000 ATMs in India, of which nearly 30,000 are in urban centres and metros. The remaining 10,000 are in semi-urban centres with only a sprinkling in rural areas.

There are around 80 public sector, private, cooperative and foreign participating banks in the ATM network in the country.

After the ATM transactions fees on using other banks' ATMs was scrapped in April, the IBA studied the entire gamut of ATM transactions.

"We found that a majority of the ATM transactions were in the range of average withdrawals of Rs.3,500-4,000, and 90 percent of all transactions were below Rs.10,000. Hence, the intended purpose to serve the common man was achieved," Unnikrishnan said.

However, there was a small minority of users who withdrew very large sums on account of high card limits given by some banks to privileged customers.

At the other extreme, there were some customers who withdrew miniscule amounts, or made other kinds of inquiries. This created several logistics problems causing avoidable expenditure for banks at the cost of the common user, he said.

Taking into account these and related aspects, the IBA submitted a proposal to RBI last month.

"We shall give sufficient notice to the customers before implementing it, and individual banks can also inform their customers about the proposal and whether or not they would charge their customers. It will give time to effect suitable modifications in the ATM programmes to implement it," Unnikrishnan said.

DECCAN CHRONICLE

Bengaluru, May 15: Transport commissioner Bhaskar Rao has allayed fears that the SMS service being offered by the RTO to track hit-and-run offenders will instead prove to be a blessing in disguise for those keen on ‘tracking’ girls.

The service was launched by the RTO on Thursday to help citizens with details of vehicles involved in hit-and- run cases. Fears were expressed that it would help in conveying personal details especially pertaining to girls.

Anyone can obtain the information on a vehicle owner by sending the registration number to 56006. Within seconds, the name of the vehicle owner and the contact address will be displayed on the SMS sender’s mobile screen helping the public to lodge a police complaint. What is worrying many is the fact that this information could also be easily obtained by a mischief monger.

But Mr Rao brushed aside the fear of the information being misused. He said that only the name of the vehicle owner, the engine number and the chassis number will be provided while replying to the SMS sent to 56006.
“To check how effective the SMS system is, all details of vehicles are being provided for another 10 days. Later, limited information will be provided to the sender and the public need not fret over this,” he said.
The SMS facility was announced by transport minister R. Ashok.
Details of 16 lakh vehicles (registration numbers starting with KA-01, KA-02, KA-03, KA-04 and KA-05) have been stored in the database.
The details of around 70 lakh vehicles will be uploaded in the next eight months. The information on all vehicles which were registered before February 15 has already been uploaded. Vehicles with registration numbers up to KA – 55 will be added shortly, Mr Rao said.
Similarly, the insurance details of all vehicles will be made available. This will help bring insurance fee evaders under the tax net, said Mr Rao.
“After 10 days, those who wish to obtain full information of a particular vehicle can do so it from our official website by providing their e-mail id,” Mr Rao added.

Indian Express

The State Transport Department is going the e-governance way. Not only has it computerised information on vehicles registered in Bangalore RTOs, it is now thinking of launching an SMS service that can get you information on motor vehicles through your mobiles.

This information will include the vehicle registration number, name & address of the registered owner, engine & chassis numbers of vehicles that are registered.
However, the department is still trying to reach a decision as to whether this information can be let out to the general public or only to the RTO officials and the police.
As of now, the operations have been tested out successfully on a pilot basis. To start with, out of 55 Regional Transport Offices (RTOs) in Karnataka, one can get info of vehicles that are registered in Bangalore RTOs where computerisation is completed-- that is from KA- 01 to KA-05.
Official sources in the Transport Department confirmed the Express that the information of 16 lakh vehicles have already uploaded.
“The vehicle database updated or created by the respective RTOs up to January 2009 has been uploaded and the five per cent error margin will be rectified soon.
However, the mobile SMS service number and users accessibility are yet to be finalised by the department as the business module is being worked out with the service providers,’’ the source informed.
How to use it?
One can type RTO-space-KA- 05-M-followed by the number and send it to a five-digit number from the mobile phone. Each SMS will cost about Rs 3.
“If a service provider charges less than Rs 3 per SMS for this particular service, then we may tie-up with them,’’ the official said.
Accessibility
The department is still figuring out whether the information should be accessible to the general public due to fear of misuse. “The department is also thinking of giving limited access for this service to Transport Department and Police Department for enforcement purposes,’’ the source added. In Delhi, the access has been restricted to RTO officials and the police personnel.
The department was considering the inclusion of vehicle technical details like vehicle maker’s name & classification, month & year of manufacture, details of tax paid and fitness certification, which can accessed by the general public if not the earlier-said information.
“e-governance benefits should reach the people, which is the ultimate purpose of an e-governance. The mobile SMS service will be hassle-free and time saving.
The police or the public need not to go from pillar-to-post in RTOs to get vehicle information,’’ the official said.

Microsoft is spending almost $80 million to $100 million on its ad campaigning to promote Bing. In a series of its ads, Microsoft is trying to show Google as a cluttered, irrelevant and confusing search engine. Even though the campaign doesn’t directly mention the name Google, but the target is pretty clear to all.

Bing’s ad campaign strategy

Microsoft is trying to center its campaign for the coming months on four major categories:

  • Travel

  • Shopping

  • Health

  • Local

Commercial spots are to be followed by online ad campaigns. Radio advertising will also be a part of the traditional advertising mix.

The second phase of Bing advertising

After Bing’s first TV commercial picked on Google for the collapse of the US economy, Bing’s advertizing has now entered its second phase.

Bing TV commercials are showcasing more dramatized versions of what it’s like when people interact with their friends, family and partners the way they do to a search engine. The ads would show how they get back responses that have the same words as their question, but nothing at all to do with what they asked.

The campaign develops a theme similar to the one Microsoft used in its earlier commercials directed at Apple.

Take a look at Bing’s recent TV spots. The ad calls today’s confusing and cluttered online search as “Search Overload Syndrome” and says Bing is the cure.

Two shots taken inside the plane before it crashed. Unbelievable! Photos taken inside the GOL B 437 aircraft that was involved in a mid air collision and crashed.....

A B437 had a mid air collision with the Embraer Legacy while cruising at 35,000 feet over South America. The Embraer Legacy, though seriously damaged with the winglet ripped off, managed to make a landing at a nearby airstrip in the midst of the Amazon jungle. The crew and passengers of the Embraer Legacy had no idea what they had hit. The B737
however crashed, killing all crew and passengers on board.

The two photos attached were apparently taken by one of the passengers in the B737, just after the collision and before the aircraft crashed. The photos were retrieved from the camera's memory stick. You will never get to see photos like this. In the first photo, there is a gaping hole in the fuselage through which you can see the tailplane and vertical fin of the aircraft. In the second photo, one of the passengers is being sucked out of the gaping hole.

These photos were found in a digital Casio Z750, amidst the remains in Serra do Cachimbo. Although the camera was destroyed, the Memory Stick was recovered. Investigating the serial number of the camera, the owner was identified as Paulo G. Muller, an actor of a theatre for children known in the outskirts of Porto Alegre. It can be imagined that he was standing during the impact with the Embraer Legacy and during the turbulence, he managed to take these photos, just seconds after the tail loss the aircraft plunged. So the camera was found near the cockpit. The structural stress probably ripped the engines away, diminishing the falling speed, protecting the electronic equipment but not unfortunately the victims. Paulo Muller leaves behind two daughters, Bruna and Beatriz.

The US President Obama's proposal to tax expenditure by the US companies on availing services from outside the country from 2011 has received mixed reactions from all over the world.

Most of the industry leaders in India believe that the plan is aimed at curbing the country's outsourcing industry. At the same time, the proposed tax system is also winning few fans in India.

The Scenario

  • India's information technology and outsourcing companies employ about 2.2 million people, and the US companies account for about 60 % of their business.
  • The US companies either have their own subsidiaries in India or employ Indians by contracting work to local technology and outsourcing companies.
  • Many of these Indian operations handle customer service and back-office functions, particularly for the US banks and credit card companies.
  • Recently, many US corporations have also expanded their sales, marketing and distribution in India.

The Proposal

  • Elimination of a deduction for the US companies when they invest in subsidiaries outside the United States.
  • To tax expenditure by the US companies on availing services from outside the country from 2011.

The Reaction

Let us try to see what various people are saying before forming our own opinion:

NASSCOM (India's leading outsourcing lobby):

  • The tax plan may actually end up reducing competitiveness of US companies with global operations when compared to their European and Japanese counterparts.
  • The proposals appeared to be aimed at addressing the tax rate differentials that exist across the world. It will impact American headquartered companies with overseas operations

CII (The Confederation of Indian Industry)

  • It's an internal issue. It will only reduce their competitiveness. He added, "It is a populist posture. Perhaps his (Obama's) intention was not the same. However, it sends a wrong message.

Infosys (India's second largest software and outsourcing company)

  • It is not for us. It is for US companies that have operations in other destinations. It will not have an impact on Indian companies.
  • We do not believe that it has anything to do with IT outsourcing done by US corporations.

Mphasis

  • It is irrelevant as far as Indian IT providers are concerned. It may encourage more US companies to invest and create jobs within that country

FCCI (Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry)

  • While Obama's move would have some impact on the US investment abroad and into India, in the long run this would only run counter to the interest of US corporations seeking global presence.

The Opinion

It was the availability of young talent pool, the time zone factor and the cost advantage that made outsourcing in India flourish in the last decade. It was not due to any tax benefit that the US firms enjoyed.

US companies save 60-75% by outsourcing their back office operations to countries like India. The overall impact would be clearer once the exact structure of the taxation is announced. Nobody really knows what will happen in the longer run but the move has definitely diluted the spirit of the global economy and the flat world.

The “Job Description” for Google Goats?
Should be capable of:

Mowing the fields…
Clearing the weeds…
And keeping the fire hazards at bay!

I know this sounds absurd… believe me, this is no joke.

The decision has been made to support Google’s so called “low carbon approach” of using goats instead of the lawn mowers (that run on gasoline and pollute the air).

Around 200 goats have been engaged from California Grazing, who eat grass and fertilize the land at the same time (lol… okkkk!)

Is Google saving costs by doing this?
Google says No…

“It costs us about the same as mowing… the goats are a lot cuter to watch than lawn mowers.”

PETA - People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals seems okay with the idea of eating grass and looking cute, but they have some concerns as well…

Amy Cook, Assistant Manager of Marketing for PETA pointed out:

PETA has no problem with letting goats do what goats want to do but we do have concerns:

How will the goats be transported?
Will they have access to shelter and shade during storms or hot weather?
Will there be a provision and availability of food and drinking water?
Where will they be housed when they aren’t “working”?
What kind of veterinary care will they receive?
PETA has found over and over that whenever animals are used by a business to make money, corners are cut and animals often suffer as a result. And that really gets our goat, if you’ll pardon the pun. [Source: TechCrunch]

And the response from Niki Fenwick, a Google representative:

“Google takes the wellness of our employees very seriously and we pride ourselves on having a responsive and adaptable culture. The lawn-mowing goats are not, of course, full-time Google employees - but we would certainly respond directly to any concerns about their treatment. I can confirm that during their time in Mountain View, like other Google employees, each goat is entitled to a free organic lunch.”

Free organic lunch eh? Well, good luck… Goats!

Gmail just announced the latest update which positively affects Indian users around the world. E-mail is one of the most prominent modes of communication over the internet and making it available for everyone to access it regardless of language, only seems logical to me.

Indian users can compose e-mail in 5 different Indian languages. The languages include Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. The new features are based on Google's transliteration technology.

Gmail Languages

Google's engineering team in India is always looking out for stuff they can work on to make Google's products more local and accessible by Indian users. Gmail offered local language interface quite some time ago and offering to compose an e-mail in local language was the next best thing to do.

The feature will automatically appear on Indian Gmail users interface, however, if you don't see it on your account you can enable/disable it from "Settings".

Customer charges for use of ATMs for cash withdrawal and balance enquiry
1. Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) have gained prominence as a delivery channel for banking transactions in India. Banks have been deploying ATMs to increase their reach. While ATMs facilitate a variety of banking transactions for customers, their main utility has been for cash withdrawal and balance enquiry. As at the end of December 2007, the number of ATMs deployed in India was 32,342. Commensurate with the branch network, larger banks have deployed more ATMs. Most banks prefer to deploy ATMs at locations where they have a large customer base or expect considerable use. To increase the usage of ATMs as a delivery channel, banks have also entered into bilateral or multilateral arrangements
with other banks to have inter-bank ATM networks.

2. It is evident that the charges levied on the customers vary from bank to bank and also vary according to the ATM network that is used for the transaction. Consequently, a customer is not aware, before hand, of the charges that will be levied for a particular ATM transaction, while using an ATM of another bank. This generally discourages the customer from using the ATMs of other banks. It is, therefore, essential to ensure greater transparency.

3. International experience indicates that in countries such as UK, Germany and France, bank customers have access to all ATMs in the country, free of charge except when cash is withdrawn from white label ATMs or from ATMs managed by non-bank entities. There is also a move,
internationally, to regulate the fee structure by the regulator from the public policy angle. The ideal situation is that a customer should be able to access any ATM installed in the country free of charge through an equitable cooperative initiative by banks.

4. In view of this, RBI had placed on its website an Approach paper and sought public comments. The comments received have been analysed. Based on the feed back a framework of service charges would be implemented by all banks as under:

Service Charges Details
(1) For use of own ATMs for any purpose Free (with immediate effect)

(2) For use of other bank ATMs for balance enquiries Free (with immediate effect)

(3) For use of other bank ATMs for cash withdrawals
No bank shall increase the charges prevailing as on December 23, 2007 (i.e. the date of
release of Approach Paper on RBI website)
Banks which are charging more than Rs.20 per transaction shall reduce the charges to
a maximum of Rs.20 per transaction by March 31, 2008
Free - with effect from April 1, 2009.

5. For the services at (1) and (2) above, the customer will not be levied any charge under any other head and the service will be totally free.

6. For the service number (3) the charge of Rs.20/- indicated will be all inclusive and no other charges will be levied to the customers under any other head irrespective of the amount of withdrawal.

7. The service charges for the following types of cash withdrawal transactions may be determined by the banks themselves:
(a) cash withdrawal with the use of credit cards
(b) cash withdrawal in an ATM located abroad.

Thus Please note that wef 01st April, 2009 ATM cards can be used in any bank’s ATM for withdrawing cash without
any charges.

The major problem with Tata Motors is that they do not enough numbers of Tata Nano to sell because of non completion of their Tata Nano plant in Gujarat; therefore, Tata can only book limited numbers of Nanos.

The new "Undo Send" feature hit the Gmail labs. Enable this feature and you can stop those e-mails that are meant for someone else or the ones where you forget to attach a document or simply the one with the wrong subject line.

That's about to change, just enable the "Undo Send" feature in Gmail Labs and you can Undo the sent messages.

Technically this feature does not really recall the sent messages but it delays sending of messages by 5 seconds. So if you realize something is wrong with the e-mail you just clicked "send" on, you have about 5 seconds to Undo Send.

Undo Send

This feature comes in handy for the messages that are sent in a rush.

Rescue your cell from water

You always try to protect your cell from not going into water, but atleast once in its lifetime, it finds its way into water. That's a very sad moment. But does this mean that it's time to abandon your cell phone? No! Especially not if you try this home remedy.

  • First of all, take out the phone battery from the cell immediately. This will prevent electrical short circuits within the cell which can even burn the internal parts of your cell.
Cell Phone in Uncooked Rice
  • Next, gently wipe your cell with a tissue, and bury it into a jar full of uncooked rice. Yes, rice! Remember that the coconut is kept in dry rice to keep moisture away? It's the same logic that works here too. It has been found that rice has a high chemical affinity for water. In simple words, it attracts water. So, water doesn't stick to the cold metal of your cell, instead it is soaked by the rice, thus leaving your cell dry (well, almost dry).

Dual SIM handset manufacturers have been asked to stop import of phones as the patent holder (Somasundaram Ramkumar of Madurai) is seeking royalty of Rs. 35/ for every phone shipped to India.

Somasundaram Ramkumar, holds patent (awarded last year) "in India for phones with a plurality of SIM cards allocated to different communication networks" – and since the application is valid for 5 years, companies like Nokia, Samsung, Meridian Mobile and Spice might have to cough up the royalty (source).

Around 100,000 dual-SIM phones are sold in the country every month – @ royalty of Rs. 35/ per phone, you can imagine the value this patent would deliver!

This is what Business Standard has to Say:

The dual-SIM handset manufacturers are in a spot after a Madurai resident, who holds patent for such phones, asked the Indian Customs authorities to stop shipment of these phones till he was paid a royalty for every handset brought into the country.

Industry experts expect the move to hit the sales of dual-SIM handsets, which are imported into the country by companies including Nokia, Samsung, Meridian Mobile and Spice. More importantly, this could also affect the plans to manufacture these handsets in the country. It is estimated that around 100,000 dual-SIM phones are sold in the country every month.

The Madurai resident, Somasundaram Ramkumar, holds patent "in India for phones with a plurality of SIM cards allocated to different communication networks". The patent was awarded to him last year.

Ramkumar has moved the Office of the Commissioner of Customs of Chennai Airport in this regard. The office has accepted his application and directed officials throughout the country to stop clearing shipments of dual-SIM phones, a source close to the development told Business Standard.

The application is valid for five years or till the time the patent is valid, whichever is earlier. Ramkumar is believed to have sought royalty (believed to be around Rs 35) for every dual-SIM phone shipped into the country.

Even though Ramkumar could not be immediately contacted for comments, manufacturers and distributors in the country confirmed the development.

European handset major Meridian Mobile CEO Rajiv Khanna said most of the companies had inventory for a couple of months. He hoped that the issue would be resolved by then. Meridian Mobile sells dual SIM handsets under the brand name 'Fly'.

The Indian Cellular Association (ICA), the body of handset vendors in India, has already formed a committee to look into the matter, and has initiated dialogue with the Customs department.

Dual-SIM handsets have two SIM slots and can work on both CDMA and GSM networks. They are popular among users due to the convenience of alternating between two numbers. These phones are particularly useful to international as some countries (like South Korea) do not have GSM networks, while others (certain places in the US) do not have CDMA networks.

*WHEN A LIZARD CAN, WHY CAN'T WE ???? *

This is a true story that happened in Japan.

In order to renovate the house, Someone in Japan breaks open the wall.

Japanese houses normally have a hollow space between the wooden walls.

When tearing down the walls, he found that there was a lizard stuck there

Because a nail from outside hammered into one of its feet.

He sees this, feels pity, and at the same time curious, as when he checked the nail,

it was nailed 10 years ago when the house was! first built.

  What happened?

The lizard has survived in such position for 10 years!!!!!!!!!!

In a dark wall partition for 10 years without moving, it is impossible and Mind-boggling.

Then he wondered how this lizard survived for 10 years! Without moving a single step--since its foot was nailed!

So he stopped his work and observed the lizard, what it has been doing, and what and how it has been eating???

Later, not knowing from where it came, appears another lizard, with food in its mouth.

Ahh!!! He was stunned and touched deeply.

For the lizard that was stuck by nail, another lizard has been feeding it for the past 10 years...

Imagine? it has been doing that untiringly for 10 long years, without giving up hope on its partner.

Imagine what a small creature can do that a creature blessed with a brilliant mind can't.

Please never abandon your loved ones

Never Say U R Busy When They Really Need You...

You May Have The Entire World At Your Feet.....

But You Might Be The Only World To Them....

A Moment of negligence might break the very heart which loves you thru all  odds..

Before you say something just remember….It takes a moment to Break but an Entire life to make...

Outlook provides an option to protect your PST files with password, so that only you have access to your personal folders. PST files can be imported in case you shift from one PC to another PC. If you ever forget the password of the PST file, here a free utility, PstPassword, which helps you to recover lost passwords from PST files. More than that, you don't need to have Outlook installed on your PC to recover the password, only the protected PST is needed.

This application does not require any installation and you can run the PstPassword.exe file to execute the application. After you run PstPassword, the main window displays the list of all PST files of the current logged on user (Under Documents and Settings\User Name\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook). For each password-protected PST file, PstPassword provide 3 alternative passwords that will open the PST file. If the PST is not protected by a password, the 3 password columns remain empty, and the CRC value column is 0×00000000.

It's possible that one of the three passwords provided by this application will be the original password that you typed, and it's also possible that none of these passwords will be identical to the original one. However, all 3 passwords provided by PstPassword will open the PST file without problems.

In any case your PST file is not visible in the list of files, you can select it manually or simply drag the PST file from Explorer window into the main window of PstPassword.

The application also has command line functions to retrieve the password to a text file. This utility can recover the PST passwords of Outlook 97, Outlook 2000, Outlook XP, Outlook 2003, and Outlook 2007.

Introduction
Getting married is a stage in one's life, where two people decide to be together for the rest of their life and share their time, emotions and feelings. Decision can be taken either by the concerned couple, on its own or they decide to be together by the wishes and choice of their respective parents. The end result in both the cases is that you are accepting a new person in your life and by doing so you are trying to "change" the pattern of your life. We all know that "Change" of any kind has always been resisted and it require very high level of "maturity", "Understanding" and "adjustment" .. Many times, many people fail to address this issue and hence end-up with very high level of stress, resulting in burn-outs, violence and some health related issues. In this article, we will be reading about the position, situation, role, expectations and challenges of a Husband.

Expectations of a Mother:
A mother is the one who gave you life and carried you in her womb for nine long months.
She was the one who understood your needs, wants and expectations, when you were not even able to speak.
She fought for you and defended you all the time, even when you were wrong. She was your first teacher.
She taught you lessons, which you would not have learned on your own or in any university of the world.
She fought with her husband, when you were in need of money.
She woke-up early in the morning to prepare breakfast for you and to pack the lunch for you. She always made sure that you eat on time.
She never slept on nights when you were sick, she just sat beside you.
She was your first friend.
When you were sad, hurt and in pain, she listened to you and motivated you...gave you hope. You shared your emotions, feelings, experiences with her, without any hesitation and she always listened to you and never complained. She listened to you, even then when she was not even able to understand as what you are saying...but she never let you know that.
She did all this and many more things for you without complaining.

After your marriage her only expectation is that you continue to be the same person as you were before; talk to her, give time to her, share with her and should not hide anything from her. Once you get married, she starts feeling insecure. She treats your wife as an intruder in her relation with you. She becomes more possessive about you and feel insure when you do not behave the way she want you to behave.

She expects you to marry the girl of "her choice" (Not necessary or a compulsion but a hidden wish). She expects you to treat your wife the way she wants her to be treated (this includes many hidden and unspoken expectations) .

Expectations of a Wife:
Just like what your mother has done for you and has gone for you; even the mother of your wife has also gone through the same. She too has same feeling, emotions and attachment for her mother as you have for yours. Her mother also feels in the same way as your mother feels for you. But then, there is a difference. She has left that house, that comfort, that attachment to walk with you for rest of her life; to make your Home. She is linked to your house and family through you. It is for you and because of you that she is there in this home which was yours, all these days. Always remember, what you promised her at the time of marriage. This is an important ritual in Hindu Marriages and it is very significant.

It goes like this:
"The Bridegroom gets up from his seat holding his bride's right hand.

He then goes around the Holy Fire (Agni) from the right side, by lifting his bride's right feet at each step. This is done for seven steps. With each step, he recites a mantra addresses to the bride.(This is also called as Sapta-Padi or Saat Pharey) These are the seven vows which are exchanged.

The first for food,
The second for strength,
The third for prosperity,
The fourth for wisdom,
The fifth for progeny,
The sixth for health and
The seventh for friendship
In some regions, in stead of walking the seven steps, the bride touches seven stones or nuts with her right toe. A symbolic matrimonial knot is tied after this ceremony. The idea behind this is to pray to Lord Vishnu, the protector of life, for his blessings in marital life. The groom then recites a mantra to convey the following meaning: After crossing seven steps with me thus, you should become my Friend. I too have become your friend now. I will never discord this friendship and you should not also do that.

Let us be together always.

Let us resolve to do things in life in the same manner and tread the same path. Let us lead a life by liking and loving each other, having good heart and thoughts, and enjoying the food and our strong points together.

Let us have undivided opinions.
Let us have same and joint desires.
I will be Sama (one of the vedas); you will be Rig (another Veda).
Let me be the Heaven; you be the Earth.
Let me be the Shukla (Moon) and you be its wearer.
Let me be the mind and you its spokesman (Vak).
After all, these promises, she does expects you to be with her; love her, care for her, listen to her, spend time with her and protect her.
Dilemma of Son / Husband
Getting married is nothing but a change. Change in the pattern of your life. Your marriage changes your views towards life. Very often, in this part of the world males, at the time of marriages are not very much matured to handle this change. Even though, things around them are changing. Even though things in their own life is changing and this change needs high level of maturity, understanding and adjustment but this husband is not ready for this change; neither mentally nor psychologically. He wants to live in the same manner as he was before and that creates lots of problems. He listens to his wife; he listens to his mother but is unable to make decision and take stand. This
actually shows that the male is emotionally very weak.

Solution and Conclusion
Get married only then when you think that you are "prepared" to take new responsibilities; when you are ready for "Change" in your life.

Don't marry, just because "people around you wants" to get married.
For others, including your parents, relatives and friends, your marriage is a function but for you its "Life Long Commitment"; don't make any commitment, if you are not very sure of fulfilling it.

Mother should ask her son to treat his wife in the manner as she wants her son-in-law to treat her own daughter (s).

Wife should ask her husband to treat his mother in the same manner as she wants her brother to treat their mother.

Your life is nothing but a choice that you make.

A saint asked his disciples, 'Why do we shout in anger? Why do people shout at each other when they are upset?'

Disciples thought for a while, one of them said, 'Because we lose our calm, we shout for that.'
'But, why to shout when the other person is just next to you?' asked the saint. 'Isn't it possible to speak to him or her with a soft voice? Why do you shout at a person when you're angry?'
Disciples gave some other answers but none satisfied the saint.
Finally he explained, 'When two people are angry at each other, their hearts distance a lot. To cover that distance they must shout to be able to hear each other. The angrier they are, the stronger they will have to shout to hear each other through that great distance.'
Then the saint asked, 'What happens when two people fall in love? They don't shout at each other but talk softly, why? Because their hearts are very close. The distance between them is very small...'
The saint continued, 'When they love each other even more, what happens? They do not speak, only whisper and they get even closer to each other in their love. Finally they even need not whisper, they only look at each other and that's all. That is how close two people are when they love each other.'

MORAL: When you argue do not let your hearts get distant, do not say words that distance each other more, else there will come a day when the distance is so great that you will not find the path to return.

Fences
Are you struggling to keep your desktop clean and files in place? It’s tough to organize especially when you are researching on a topic/article and download files and software’s in the process.

Stardock’s Fences solves that issue, it helps you mark and assign areas on the desktop to a specific project. All you got to do is just drag and drop the files in the assigned area for the project and the files just stay there without mixing with other files.

Sample Screenshot:

Before I get into details let me tell you about one feature which is a mood changer, literally a mood changer. This feature is called Quick-Hide which lets you hide ALL your desktop files just by a Double-Click on the desktop, that’s all! Double-click again and they are back on the desktop.

Once the application is installed the first-time wizard fires up and you will be presented with options to create “Fences” on the desktop if not just right-click on the desktop and drag the pointer to create a fence. In addition to creating fences and dropping files into it.. you can simply right-click and drag over a group of icons to create a fence with files in it.

The software adds a few options to the right-click menu on the fence which let you Lock Fences, Edit Fences, Exclude this Fence from quick-hide, Rename Fence and Delete Fence.

It also lets you take snapshots of your desktop from time to time so that you can revert back to a particular layout if you want to.
Fences is a free software and works with XP, Vista and Windows 7.
